My mam was born in Lancashire and moved to Newcastle 53yrs ago to marry my dad Norman.Hilda loved the northeast and the geordie way of life,(athough she never lost her accent!). She was hard working, honest and kind. Hilda had many job,s, from being a clippy on the buses,a bingo caller, a cleaner in Reyrolls to name but a few! My mam never drank,or went out socializing but she loved a cup of tea and a cigarette and a natter with a neighbour. Hilda became house bound in the last 5 yrs of her life due to Emphasemia, and was on oxygen 24/7, Hilda died in hospital after slipping into a coma on mothersday after opening her cards and gifts. She died with courage and dignity. Godbless you mam, you were one in a million, strong and couragous. Her dying wish was for her ahes to be taking "home", back to lancashire, which we did with pride, and scattered them around the place she called home.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Sorry

Sorry I've not visited you for a wee while, but I've had major probs with pc, which is no longer under warranty and I'm having to pay for repairs. Also the case for my son Chris' murder is dragging on and on. There has still not been a Trial date set, and every month, and now week, that the accused have appeared in court, they have been allowed more and more continuations. It's dragging the very heart out of me, I just want justice for Chris and closure for the family. I just want you to know that you have still been in my thought, and prayers, Hilda, and I'm sorry I've not been able to visit you as often as I would like to. It is still my wish that you meet my Mum up there and have a good old-fashioned blether with her, she would love that. All my love Darling xxx
